Once upon a time many years ago, infact during the first year of the Second World War, a soldier was on an english railway station waiting to leave the country to fight abroad with him was his sweetheart and as they were saying their last goodbyes the soldier called Joe, gave her a teddy bear and he told her to think of him whilst holding the teddy bear.  Very proudly she took the teddy bear home with her and sat him on her bed, then they both waited Joe's return home.  Sadly Joe was missing in action and never returned from war.  The teddy bear who she then called Old Joe in memory of her loved one remained on her bed for many years to come, always reminding her of the love she once had and lost.  Many years later the young girl was now an old lady and was worried what might happen to the teddy bear called Old Joe upon her death and she looked around for a new home for him, somewhere where she knew he would be loved and cared for.
